Then we took a day and visited Hopewell Cape and walked on the ocean floor. These are the Flower Pot Rocks. It was a small hike into the park and then down open stairs that are below sea level when the tide is in and there you are...walking on the ocean floor. It is awesome!!!. I had seen the rocks before...from lookoffs but had never taken the plunge(pardon my quibble) and followed the trail right down to the bottom. It was windy and cool and the waves were not too fearsome , the mud was icky and the rocks were amazing. It's one of those things everyone in New Brunswick should do at least once and proudly brag to anyone who will listen...
This is another of the many pictures that I took while walking on the ocean floor.......ahem!!!...it kind of fascinated me to see the spruce tree clinging for dear life on rocks that are steadily and slowly eroding away. There were a lot of places that were out of bounds due to the falling rocks...time will certainly create more but for now, it just hangs there.
On a side note, Tigger fell in love with our daughter Meghan last year at Xmas time. This time it was total obsession. Tigger went everywhere Meghan did, slept with her at night and wouldn't even get up for breakfast unless she did. This is just an example of how she behaved. Wherever and however, Tigger was Meghan's shadow. She's a sad little girl now that our DD has gone home....poor baby...
