To the Zone

Some days every thing just falls in place. I wasn't really in the mood to quilt this morning but I wanted to get this one done. I had no real plan or idea how to quilt it and once it was in the frame I just decided to wing it. Well since I wanted to master curves and curlicues it seemed like a good time to 'get 'er done".

I started curls and curves and darn it, it just felt so comfortable I kept going.  This is the first quilt that I finished in one go.  I have been doing them by halves...not wanting to get tired and make mistakes.  My Q24 behaved itself beautifully and made me feel great.

I had so darned much fun. I got in that relaxed zone that made the movement of the machine just so darn enticing.  I never would have believed that I would become so enamoured with long arming. I guess it just goes to prove...never say never.

I flipped the back over so you could see the curves better...not too shabby.  Even the prisms from the bevelled glass in our front door agrees....yahoo!!
