Mission Accomplished!

I put this quilt in the frame to be quilted just before Christmas.  I spent a couple of hours working on it , just to get it started then I lost interest. A few weeks ago, I decided it was time. I've been working on it steadily .....just to get the darned thing out of the frame.  I am tired of it and I don't really like it. However despite  calloused fingers  and a moderately severe arthritic thumb(according to the Doc) I finished quilting it tonight.  I will bind the doggoned thing (with the same fabric that is in the cornerstones) and put it on my bed. It is heavily quilted and should be a cool summer quilt It will be a serviceable one to say the least.

AND now on to another quilt!  Only have 5 or 6 waiting....let's hope I don't get bored with them..

I know how it is to get tired of looking at your own work, but I think this quilt is absolutely gorgeous! I'm a scrappy quilter, but I think scrappy neutrals look absolutely elegant.
