I'm Not Quilting Right Now!!!

This is the reason. Her name is Rio and she is 8 months old and in need of a good home. We were fortunate to have been allowed to adopt her. She will be with us for a month or so and then a friend of hers will be coming to join her....Shelties like company and we love Shelties so we'll do the best we can for her. I forgot how high maintenance Sheltie puppies can be. She is really good but she does like to play.  I can't let her off leash yet so that means I have been spending a lot of time walking with her. She is a sweet little girl and absolutely wild about children. She is really smart ...has learned to sit and lay down already.  She's a little greedy about food but that comes from being in a kennel and large pack environment.  She'll learn.   It'll be a while until I can get back to the sewing, especially considering DH went fishing for 4 days so that Rio and I can bond....she is mine and the next one will be his little girl...oh what fun we will have.

  2. Oh my goodness but she is adorable... and I love that she will have a "sister"... I love dogs too... the two we have are our "angels", and our lives would just not be the same without them... I think the "greedy" with food could just be a puppy thing too, because I remember both of mine doing the same thing and I always worried they would choke because they "gobbled" up everything so fast... but they do outgrow it! Have fun with her! Hugs.
