There was something about this quilt that appealed to me.  It certainly was easy to do.  I started out machine piecing and then DD# 2 broke her collarbone and needed a little assistance.  Needless to say, I packed it all up and hied myself off to Massachusetts for a couple of weeks until she was on the mend. I then pieced this one by hand and brought it home ready to put in the long arm to quilt.

 I took this close up to point out a mistake.....I mean , really, I was going along so well and very happy with the results until I had a good look and all I could do was laugh. There is no way I am going to pick out the long arm quilting.....it stays as is.  Let me know if you can spot it.......
