Remember this thing...it's my tea cup caddy. I got the pattern from the Red Brolly website and loved making it. I use it each meeting to tote my nice china cup ...My Mother used to say that tea always tasted better in a china cup and you know, I must say, there's some truth to that. Anyway....I like my little carrier.
Here it is opened up and you can see the tea bag just showing in the little pocket designed for just that purpose (plus my Splenda).... just below that pocket you can attach a ribbon to anchor a small mug rug.
Like this one. Just finished it tonight and I love it. I've always liked doing embroidery and adding it to quilting...even a small item like this makes it even more fun.. It, too, came from the Red Brolly blog. A friend from Fredericton emailed me to let me know...thanks to Lucy.......
Since we moved here we have seen more rainbows than we have ever seen before. If you squint real hard you can see a second rainbow just to the right of the main one. DH thought I should run down the hill really fast and maybe I'd find the pot of gold and at today's rate it may well be worth the jog.....

ReplyDeleteI love that little red brolly stitchery. I have that pattern too and it's on my to-do list. Yes, I can sorta see that second rainbow. Love those special things that only mother nature gives us...
