It looks like a purse but it isn't...it is an iron caddy. I've wanted one for ages but just never got around to getting a pattern. I found one on the internet and decided I could make one easily enough. It actually was quite simple...all arithmetic and easily explained. I bought the teflon coated fabric for ironing boards at Fabricville (got enough to make four...not that I am going to). and picked the outer fabric from my stash...I do like that little flower fabric.
This way, I will be able to take my iron with me whenever I go to classes or project day. There is always a line up at the ironing board despite the fact we have two irons and two boards. I'll still have to have a little more space but this way I have a great excuse...see there is always a method to my madness....

ReplyDeleteThis really look \s like a good thing to have/make. So it's for carrying your iron if it's still hot at end of class.. and you can iron ON it too??
ReplyDeleteSmart idea, sure will come in handy for you.
