My Postcard

I tried to crop this picture so that all you could see was the postcard but blogger would not accept my cropped attempt....bugger it.!...ah well., here it is in all it's "on the floor to take a picture" glory.  I found the pattern on EQ6 and resized it for a 4" X 6" postcard, then I reverse appliqued it. I wish I had made my 'Merry Christmas' a little larger and perhaps a little more formal..  one cannot be perfect , after all.  Regardless of the imperfections, I like it and I had fun making it....'nuff said. It goes in the mail today.

This is 'Miss Priss', as usual , she is relaxing on what the dogs consider the best spot in the house...they can watch everything goin' on without too much effort.  I swear I can get umpteen pictures of Faith, she's so relaxed and amiable, but the Tigger is just too busy to hold still. Out daughter is here for the holidays and has commandeered my dog. Tigger won't even come near me for a cuddle. Fickle little  @#$$....oh well, she'll come back when Meghan goes home.  Our firstborn arrives today with her year old pup...it too is a Sheltie...should be an interesting time.  I'll keep you posted.
