Fred trained in Ottawa with the horses from the musical ride. His troop was the last to do so. After his graduation, the training centre was moved to Regina , Sask. This is his graduation picture, taken when he "passed out".... he tells many a humourous story about tending those high-spirited horses and the training on horseback.
