And Sew it Grows
More spools!. They are addictive little things. I like to do things on a sort of assembly line. I cut the fabric strips, light and contrast, then traced the template. I have learned not to eyeball it if I want parts to fit properly. I put the pieces for each spool together with a pin and stacked them in my "currently working on" basket then sat down and sewed away as I watched Johnny Depp afternoon movies..granted they were on the scream channel but I had seen them all before so the horror aspect was diminished. The spools are still fun to do and someday I will have a quilt top, a table runner a lap quilt ....something useful for certain. I like practical things.
I love your spools. I have seen a lot of people making them and I would love to try my hand at them, but I am not confident enough in my abilities yet. Maybe one day.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. Have a great weekend!

I have yet to try the spools.....your are pretty. I'm thinking about making a lot of differant blocks and making a quilt that will use up my scraps but not 3inch blocks lol.
