I found this pattern in Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting before Christmas and just didn't have the time to get it ready fo this year. As soon as the decorations were stashed I got to work embroidering. Pieced this much so far and will probably have the rest done by the end of the week . Needs some little stars in the plain light strips. I love to embroider , it is one of the two crafts my mother taught me as a young girl...the other is knitting which I still do when ever the mood strikes me. 
I have this pattern and I really like the idea of doing some stitching. I've not seen anyone actually stitch this out. Very nice.
