Lazy Girl Designs have the neatest patterns. They are easy to follow...have great pictures and are very clear on their instructions. That being said...I screwed up. See that nice slash on the right side of the purse...well it is supposed to be on the left....now that's not that big a deal...not really but it does make a difference when you carry the purse since the zipper pull is on the right and if you carry the purse so that you can slip your hand into that side pocket the zipper is at the back...not cool...so I will just have to pay attention when I use this purse....doh!!
This is the great zipper pull that my DD made for me. We just got back from visiting her in Ottawa and she took me to Quilty Pleasures in Orleans....a great quilt shop....I make it a point to visit them every time we head up that way. I always spend too much money but , you know, we only go around this world once...life is too short .....so many quilts, so little time...need I go on?
This is what the inside of my Candice looks like...room for my e-reader...which got wet (a vicious rain storm in Ottawa...nasty critter). I left it covered in rice for an extra two days in the hopes that it would dry out well ...it works, I can download books, read them but the reader stays in demo mode and won't let me delete....anyway, the reader fits and that's the main thing, right????
Faith and Tigger went to the breeder's for the week...they love it there...lots of puppies to play with (all Shelties and hairless chihuahuas so no big doggies to bully them) and they are treated like family so they have fun...Faith wasn't sure she wanted to come home with us. The breeder gave them each a little clean up...Faith looks like she got her face washed, she's so clean and pretty looking. .....
whereas, Tigger...well she really doesn't have a great Sheltie coat, probably never will but we love her anyway...she always looks clean and pretty in my eyes. We never had a chance to miss these pretty girls since DD has a beautiful blue merle Sheltie and he is a lover...loves to snuggle and loves lots of kisses. He followed DH around the whole time we were there...if we could have gotten away with it, he might have come home with us....

I love your bag even if it came out a bit different. Great tip about the rice, I've learned something new.
The dogs do look pretty spiffy.
I've not seen that Lazy Girl bag. I really must see if I can find the pattern and give it a try. I really like her patterns to use up scraps.
