Got some more hexagons done ..I really like the effect the nine patch gives. I have no purpose in mind for these , I just wanted something to do and I had to prove to myself that Icould draft them and make them fit. I might put them into a table runner since I seem to be avoiding putting together a bed size quilt these days. I keep looking at the empty quilt frame and getting annoyed with myself because I haven't got a top ready to quilt. My daughter informed me that she has one she's bringing home at Christmas time for me to quilt. Maybe I'll end up being content with that for now.
I can't begin to tell you how many pictures I took to try and get these two looking up and standing beside each other. The one on the left is Faith, the latest addition to our family and Tigger is on the right. When I look down at them, I check their ears so I will know which is which....Tigger's did not take to the taping...ergo...pointed ears and Faith's are curled in true Sheltie fashion. They are beginning to look the same from above as Tigger's coat is coming in and it has some red in it like Faith's. They aren't real friends yet but so far neither has bitten the other so I guess that's a good thing.

Oh...I think you should make a quilt, that is just outstanding what you are doing!
Those puppies are too darn cute! I bet you were lucky to get them to sit still long enough for a photo.
The blocks are amazing - I say go for a lap quilt at least.
Both dogs do look alike....the one on the right looks a bit older in this pictures....is he....lovely quilt pieces. Trish
Awsome blocks!! You do such beautiful work.
I am so far behind in my blog-reading. But, am glad I got to your blog today. I saw your new pup, Faith. What a beauty. I love the herding dog spirit (I had Collies) and I am so happy for you!
