Taking Stock

I have been feeling like I haven't done enough this summer while waiting to have my eyes tuned up.  On Hallowe'en I saw the specialist and she determined that my eyes were in good shape...no pressure problems and they were working in sync.  I then went to see the Optometrist to have my vision tested and she told me I could wear glasses if I chose to but they would be clear lenses on top and the bi-focal would be for reading....almost the same as the glasses I wore when I was myopic except I needed strong lenses before. My choice..to wear cheapies at 1.50 strength or break down and get designer glasses.  Guess what I chose....I now have six pairs of glasses....one for each reading station...you know , like one pair in the bathroom, one pair on the quilt frame and one pair by the sewing machine.,...one pair on my night table and one pair by my computer....and of course, one pair in my purse.....I am covered.

I got to thinking that I really haven't done that much this summer and then I realized when I took this quilt (my row by row for 2016) out of the frame yesterday that it was the third one since June. So I guess I have done more than I thought.  I have a fourth one ready to go into the frame tomorrow...it probably won't get quilted before Christmas but you just never know....I have so many PHD's to work on I may never get back to the quilt frame again...woe is me!

You're on a roll... glad to hear your vision is that great!!! Cheap readers are the best... until you forget where they are... lol...

Do you know how often I say "Where are my glasses" every day. My grandson at 2 even knows he has to wait for me to find them before we can go outside. So very smartt to have them at each reading station.
