Another project

Remember this pattern. It was produced a few years ago as a block of the month in gorgeous shades, not quite pastel but not jewel tones either. I loved it and ordered it right away. Got to number 13 and kind of burned myself out with applique...I wasn't pleased with my progress and just put it aside.  My S-I-L was here for a bit and wanted to see how it was coming along, so I dug it out and put the squares up on my "design wall"....here it is....

Darn Blogger for not putting the picture in the right way.....I had turned the one above and this one and as you can see, this one did not turn....don't get a 'crick' in your neck....lol.  As you can see, jewel tones...all the way. I've tried pastels...I absolutely love them when they are all done but everytime I try to make a quilt in light colours I stray. I guess I'm just a 'jewel' lover at heart....that can be said for the other jewels as well.
This blur of Sheltie fur is actually the two Shelties 'rasselin'...they have a wonderful time, pouncing on each other and chasing each other through the house.  I especially love to see them full tilt outside. We have a big yard and they take full advantage of it. It is usually Faith chasing Tigger but occasionally Tigger chases Faith. When Faith manages to grab a hold on Tigger somewhere, it's down she goes and then Faith pounces.
This is after the pounce...no one gets hurt and they usually have a great time.  I've never heard a yelp from either one of them....such a good thing.

Love that project. Linda H. is having the same problem with her pictures on blogger. If you find out how to fix it, let one of us know. We're perplexed. Love the pouch antics..

Your blocks are looking great. I did mine totally scrappy. It is the front page on my blog if you want to take a peek. It was so much fun to do. I bartered projects with a friend. I did a few applique' blocks for her and she did all of those little 9 patches for me :-)
