My latest project...

This is what has kept me busy this last couple of weeks....ergo no post until now. I think I mentioned somewhere that I have an obsessive personality...when I am sparked by some project , I work my not so little butt off until I get it done to where I am happy.  This is my latest.  You will notice that it is scrappy...no repeats in the chain squares...yippee...means the stash is getting smaller...as if!!!

What has been keeping me occupied has been all the leaves.  I would do them in batches of 50...I won't tell you how many are actually on this thing...I would probably have a fit coniption if I knew.
I don't know why dogs have to walk on anything you put on the floor but , they do.  This is Faith....after I had shooed Tigger off the top.  I guess she wanted her picture taken.
And , of course, a close up of the applique.  Now I have to figure out a pattern to quilt in plain blocks. I figure stitch in the ditch around the small squares ...would make a nice chain in the back. I've been drafting a feathered cross that will over lap a little in the plain strips of the adjacent squres....hopefully , I 'll get it perfected (well, almost anyway) tonight and mark this puppy and get in the frame. I feel abandoned with no quilt in the frame to quilt...my fingers have healed...it's time.

I love it. That is my kind of quilt. Love all the colors... Such movement and the vine just adds so much to give it the WOW factor. Beautiful.

Very, very nice, love the scrappy! And I agree, sometimes it is just best not to count how many small pieces have gone into a quilt ... the number can sometimes make you question your sanity ... hee, hee.
