Paroled at last!

Dear Dorothy Jane got paroled! She got time off for good behaviour...despite the fact my fingers got sore from quilting through so many seams...I knew there was another reason why I don't care for paper piecing, especially on itty bitty squares like the ones in this quilt.

On the up side, it was fun to quilt...I certainly did not get bored with it.
Faith and Tigger talked it over and decided that I had best make a really nice label for this one. I have a couple of pictures of my mom...it's a shame how few I do have ....I think I will scan one onto the computer and then print if off on fabric with a little write up about her.

I don't think this one will end up on a bed...at least not on my beds...maybe on her granddaughter's.

Happy Valentine's day to you all...

That quilt is Capital A Awesome!!! I love a quilt that takes a long time to look all over and this one certainly qualifies. Love the whimsy of the seasonal blocks in it. It's just all round great.
