I love Snowstorms!

Not counting the havoc they create , I love to be hunkered down when there is a big snowstorm raging.I get a lot of UFO's done. This is one. If you are familiar with New Brunswick then you know that Bonny River is the area in Charlotte County that was overwhelmed with flooding before Christmas. I was fortunate to have quilted in the Second Falls  Fire Hall with a great bunch of quilters when we lived near there.  Some of us exchanged signature squares (actually that was about 3 years ago) and I finally(thanks to the snowstorm) got around to putting mine together. Some of the ladies were unable to make squares (no stash ladies, one had moved and sadly, one passed away) so I made some extras to make sure their names were included.
Since I love scrappy quilts it was a no-brainer to make this one  all scrappy.  Now I just have to quilt it.  Once "Dear Dorothy Jane" is all done (only 3 rows left to quilt) I'll put this one in the frame. One UFO down...far too many to count, to go..!

This is my front window the day after the last snowstorm. Isn't that just wild. The girls are quite frustrated since they cannot see out but can hear activity.
Here they are in a moment of quiet. Doesn't happen very often.

Oh, fun. Man, what a lot of snow. Those pooches sure look comfy on that couch. Even though they can't see out the window, I bet they like to play outside in the bit snow though..

I like the coziness of home when the weather is bad and the snow is flying. All is well as long as the power stays on! Your pretty puppies look so comfy! Stay warm!

The quilt is wonderful. The snow is awesomely horrible. The dogs look happy and comfortable.
