I'm Ready for the Quilt Show.

This is Esther the Easter Chicken. She's ready for the quilt show in a couple of weeks time. I was a little concerned that I would not get all the pieces I wanted to put in the show ready. But, I made it! I have ten things to display, three bed size quilts...one I wish to sell....and the rest are wallhangings, a baby quilt...this table runner and a couple of Hallowe'en wallhangings. Some of the pieces I did when we were living in St.George and no one here has seen them...that's the up side of moving to an area where no one knows you...they haven't seen your "stuff".

I'm a little frustrated with Picasa tonight. I tried to find the command to cut this picture so that you see just the table runner minus the floors and I couldn't find it. I have done that before so I know there is a command somewhere but tonight it deludes me. Must be more tired than I thought after planting 17 hostas around the yard, three bunches of yellow flowers that I know not the name . I also have a large bunch of yellow lillies to plant but need to wait until the crew building our deck move their pieces of wood. Maybe tomorrow. It's time to clean up my flower beds...take all the annuals out and get the soil ready for next year when I plan on planting just perennials. At least that's the plan now...when all the annuals are looking so good, I'll probably change my mind....what mind , right??
