Another UFO done!

This is a crayon quilt that I put together about 5 years ago. I'm not sure what possessed me to make it, since we have no grandbabies and probably won't have any (never say never). Anyway, I saw  a picture in , I think it was a Quiltmaker magazine and since I can draw a little bit, I proceeded ahead and put this one together.  Crayon quilts, per se , are a lot of fun, much like kindergarten...draw what you want and colour it however you want.(The  secret is to press the fabric....after colouring....with paper towel and a hot , dry iron.. it will take the wax out and leave the dye).I'm not sure how it will wash......if anyone knows , please let me know since I wish to sell this one at our quilt show at the end of the month. I'd hate for anyone to buy it and then have problems with it after.
I really had to get it out of the frame today...DH decided that he should paint the basement and everything had to be moved.  I forget how much I have accumulated over the years...books, magazines and we won't even get into the amount of fabric I have...must be close to a hundred bucks.....lol.   At least now that I  have to re-organize I can put it all in order and maybe then I can find some of my notions and gadgets.
On a side note, Tigger now has a blue tail...she decided to help painting...
