A Quilt Show in St. George, NB

I really wasn't thinking too well yesterday when I attended a quilt show in St. George, NB at the Presbyterian Kirk...it is oldest building in Canada continuously in use as a church. It's in marvelous shape , well maintained and a really nice place to hold a small quilt show. I should have taken a picture of the outside as well as these on the inside.

As you can see the quilts were draped over the pews(straight-backed and uncomfortable as all get out...makes you wonder how many people strained their backs over the centuries)

The two ladies here are Jacque and Louise, both members of the Quoddy Quilt Guild (my former quild) and, along with many other quilters in the St. George area , have some of their quilts on display.

Lovely lovely quilts in both posts - the church is a perfect setting to show them off!

I didn't know St. George had a quilt show. Do they do it every year? How cute to use the church. Reminds me of the one in Cambridge Narrows. Thanks for posting.
