Hollow Cubes done!

I finally made all the hollow cubes I am going to do...this is the almost finished product...must quilt and bind it.  I will probably wait until I finish quilting "Sylvia's Stars"Posted by Picasaand that may take a while. I could set up a smaller frame that I have for baby quilts but if I do that, I will stop quilting on Sylvia's Stars and that just won't do. I want to display it in our quilt show in September and the outside is calling me...flowers to plant, grass to grow and if I am lucky a puppy to play with. So for now, I will keep my nose to grindstone and quilt away...

Very nice. Will you put setting triangles and border before you quilt or leave it in the stacked cube shape. I love all the colors and the shading.

I was at my friend Lois's house today and she had a photo of cubes and it's finished to a square shape with scrappy black and white triangles. She's going to send me the pics and I'll send to you. I think you'll like it.

That quilt turned out really really nice! You've got a great eye for colour!

You should let me know the dates/location of your quilt show so I can tell my guild about it - sometimes they get people together to visit maritime shows.

We also have one this year: 24-26 Sept in Charlottetown.

Cheers,
Christine :)
