Dresden and Baby!

This is Tigger who is becoming quite a little companion. If you're wondering, I am sitting on a stool at the counter bar in my kitchen. This is where she will lay whenever I play at the computer. I grabbed the camera and got a candid shot of her...quickly, mind you, because she still isn't completely trusting of us yet. We've only had her for two and a half weeks.

The next pic is the project I am working on now...a baby quilt...did the Dresden plate by hand and the rest is being done by machine. As an aside, Tigger does not like the machine and pokes me with her Sheltie nose to try and get me to stop. So far it's not working...she will learn.

I have no end in mind for the baby quilt...no grandchildren and by the looks of things none in sight for a while. I may finish it up...add a wide border and do some applique just to give it a little pizzaz. Our guild is having a quilt show in late September...should have it finished by then so more than likely I will put it in the "for sale" table. A grandma might take a liking to it.

Your quilt is very sweet... I love out the touch of purple along with the vibrant blue makes the whole thing "pop"... Lovely shot of Tigger! Hugs.

Lovely shot of your dog - She will get so that she never leaves you I think. I too think that is a cute quilt

The colors on the quilt are wonderful and bright, just what a child would like. My "baby" just turned 19 and has a few more years before she is ready for a baby. I have jokingly told her I am going to start to make baby quilts. They are so cute and fun to make!
